Sublimation Color Correction
ICC
Profiles For ArTainium UV +™ Sublimation Inks
- To obtain consistent accurate colors from any dye sublimation ink some form of
color correction must be used. There are many different approaches taken by ink suppliers to obtain
decent colors. However, for optimum results, we use the internationally recognized ICC color profiles
method. An ICC profile is basically a small file which you load onto your system and every time
you print from Corel or Photoshop, etc. your printer knows to use this file and therefore prints
accurate colors. To build these files we measure the color densities of 1000s of test squares with
spectrometers and other software and then compile the results together in one small user-friendly
file. Our "SI-PI" ICC profiles are one of the most accurate methods available to achieve
consistent color.
- To be able to use our award winning profiles you must use a graphics program that
is ICC compatible such as Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
Profiles are available for purchase from the ArTainium store,
in PC or Mac format and are priced one time at $34.95
To purchase a profile for your system visit the ArTainium store’s
ICC Profile page and select the appropriate printer and operating system for the profile you would
like to purchase.
