Install & Set up Procedures For ICC Profiles

Congratulations on your ICC Profile purchase; now you are ready to get started with set up. Please note there are 2 parts to the ICC set up – Print Driver Set Up and Graphics Application Set Up.

STEP 2: Graphic Application Set Up

The software you use to print your images needs to be ICC compliant. The most commonly used applications are from Corel and Adobe. Other programs such as Freehand, Pagemaker and Illustrator are capable of choosing profiles but only in the latest versions. These alternative applications are being identified and instructions will be included on this site when completed. If in doubt, call tech support and we can discuss your particular method of producing and printing images.

Setting Up To Print From a Macintosh: Although we do not fully support Macs, all our profiles are available in Mac format and the instructions for their use are very similar to the PC setup.; Download Mac instructions for Photoshop and printer driver setup.

ICC: First Things First

Before you get started, you will need to purchase an ICC Profile if you do not currently have one for your printer. Follow the steps below and then return to this page.

Step One

Visit the ArTainium Online Store and buy the ICC Profile for your computer’s Operation System.

Step Two

You will receive your ICC profile in an email with instructions on how to install the profile.

Step Three

Return to this page and follow the directions provided for each printer on the left.
